A day in the life
In Springdale, AR, you start your shift with a safety huddle, review work orders, and head out to keep our ammonia refrigeration systems running at peak performance. One hour you’re inspecting compressors and evaporators; the next, you’re troubleshooting an alarm, documenting your findings, and coordinating with teammates to keep operations moving smoothly. Forklifts, pallet jacks, fall protection, ladders, and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures are part of your toolkit—because safe, precise work is how we protect people, product, and equipment. Where you’ll make an impact
Install, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration equipment and related systems. Diagnose and resolve performance issues through routine inspections and troubleshooting. Execute preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Accurately document service activities, repairs, and maintenance tasks. Partner with team members to maintain a safe, efficient environment. Apply best practices with forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, fall protection, and LOTO. Stay current with industry developments and refrigeration technologies. Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. What you’ll bring
At least 1 year of Ammonia Refrigeration experience; OR 1 year of HVAC repair and troubleshooting; OR graduate/enrollment in an Ammonia Refrigeration technical training program. This experience must appear on your resume or work history. Ammonia Refrigeration experience or education is strongly preferred. Rehire eligibility: this facility accepts rehires only after 180 days and only if previously employed fewer than three times. 18 years of age or older and able to present valid Identification. Comfort using basic hand tools and reading/understanding assignments. Foundational mechanical/maintenance knowledge (HVAC, chillers, boilers, refrigerants; ammonia preferred). Ability to lift 50 lbs; climb stairs to 120 feet and ladders up to 60 feet; stand for extended periods; and work in extreme hot, cold, and inclement weather. Skills you’ll rely on
