Develop, write, and debug CMM inspection programs using specified software. Interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications. Perform first article, in-process, and final inspection of manufactured components. Analyze measurement data and generate comprehensive inspection reports (e.g., FAIRs, PPAPs). Troubleshoot and optimize existing CMM programs and measurement processes. Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure quality standards and resolve non-conformances. Assist in the setup and validation of CMM fixtures and measurement routines. Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS). Expert-level understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints, 3D CAD models, and technical specifications. Strong knowledge of metrology principles, measurement techniques, and CMM machine operation. Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) and in-process quality control in a manufacturing environment. Bonus Qualifications

Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) for model-based programming and analysis. Experience with other metrology equipment such as vision systems, laser scanners, or optical comparators. Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis.
