Job Details Location: Austin, Texas Duration: 6‑month contract (possible extension) Work arrangement: Part‑time (20‑25 hrs/week), on‑site only Reports to: Head of People

Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including role approvals, intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviews, evaluations, and offer closures.

Review resumes, conduct initial screenings and interviews, and administer assessments as needed to evaluate qualifications and cultural fit.

Train and support hiring managers on interview best practices, structured interviews, and evaluation criteria.

Ensure consistency in interview processes to reduce bias and improve quality of hire.

Optimize the ATS to its full potential and keep all templates up to date.

Define and track key recruitment KPIs such as time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction; analyze data and present insights to management.

Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

Collaborate with the business and HR partners to anticipate future talent demands.

Ensure a seamless and positive candidate journey by providing timely updates and maintaining communication.

Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand needs and provide regular progress updates; build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Promote the organization’s culture, values, career opportunities, and benefits through the company website, social media, and employer review platforms to attract top talent.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

5+ years of proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, with a focus on technical, managerial, or leadership roles.

Payments sector/FinTech experience is beneficial.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Familiarity with recruitment software and tools such as Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or similar platforms.

Experience managing relationships with external recruitment agencies and job board vendors to ensure performance and cost‑effectiveness.

Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
