. Position Summary
As a Project Manager within the PMO Center of Excellence (CoE), you will lead strategic IT consulting projects and drive delivery excellence across the organization. This role focuses on standardizing best practices, ensuring governance, and enabling consistent, high-quality project execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to implement solutions aligned with CoE frameworks and methodologies. Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Governance Manage end-to-end delivery of IT consulting projects (e.g., cloud migrations, enterprise application rollouts, cybersecurity initiatives). Ensure adherence to CoE standards, templates, and methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, ITIL). Monitor compliance with governance processes and quality assurance guidelines. Contribute to developing and refining CoE best practices, tools, and frameworks. Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams. Communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly and proactively. Align project objectives with business goals and CoE strategic priorities. Anticipate risks and implement mitigation strategies. Escalate critical issues and drive resolution in collaboration with CoE leadership. Knowledge Sharing & Enablement Document lessons learned and contribute to CoE knowledge repositories. Mentor junior project managers and support capability building within the organization. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Certifications:
PMP or PRINCE2 required; Agile (Scrum Master), ITIL, or SAFe certifications preferred. Experience: 5+ years of project management experience in IT consulting or professional services. Experience working within a PMO or CoE environment. Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet). Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and enterprise solutions. Preferred Attributes
Experience in defining and implementing governance frameworks. Ability to manage multiple strategic projects concurrently. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
