Manages all aspects of the Pelvic Floor & Continence Center. Stays abreast of all State and Federal rules & regulations, as they relate to the clinical and administrative segments of the practice. Works closely with the Nurse Practitioner, RN, Physical Therapists and the Director of Telfair Ambulatory Services to establish and implement best practices for growth of the center. Responsibilities include front office staff management, schedule coordination with all staff, budgets, financial reporting and accountability. Education Bachelors of Management - Preferred Associates of Management - Preferred Experience 3-5 Years Medical Practice Operations - Preferred Minimum of 3 years supervisory or equivalent experience. License & Certification None Required Core Job Functions Define annual targets and review quarterly; improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs; and develop relationships with physicians, community leaders and stakeholders as needed to promote specialty services for appropriate patients. In conjunction with Director, develop an annual needs assessment and staffing matrix to address the specialty services. Plans, prepares, implements and evaluates departmental operating and capital budgets; manages departments within planned budgets. Reviews monthly financial performance reports and prepares variance reports. Collaborates with appropriate health system personnel to maintain accurate charging and billing processes for department. Audits scheduling and reporting to ensure accurate performance. Ensures requests for standard changes are completed in a timely manner including provider reschedules and No Show reports for practices. Collaborates with administration with regard to department growth, call volumes and workflow changes needed to optimize department performance to ensure excellence in quality and patient care. Hires, trains, counsels, disciplines and terminates staff as needed. Responsible for updating co-worker files such as performance evaluations, clinical competencies, job descriptions, organizational chart, net learning module and site orientations. Ensure system and HR policies and procedures are adhered to in all assigned practices. Implements programs and services to improve patient satisfaction. Works with physicians to achieve growth of practice. Addresses all patient concerns and issues. Provide oversight for Precertification to assure processes are consistent. Monitor denials of outpatient procedures and works closely with the payment resolution department to offer assistance with appeals. Monitor regulatory agencies for current rules and regulations.
