This role processes grant invoices, coordinates instructor travel, and ensures compliance with funding agency and university requirements. The coordinator also reconciles LSU Foundation accounts to ensure donor funds are properly managed. Acting as a liaison with faculty, staff, and external partners, this position ensures timely, accurate, and compliant grant and foundation account administration.**Job Responsibilities:**Grant Admin Pre-Award Support: Assist staff and administrators with preparing and submitting grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation; review grant guidelines to ensure compliance with sponsor and university requirements; and track proposal submissions, awards, and reporting deadlines. 25%Grant Admin Post-Award Support- Process grant invoices, handle travel for grant instructors, and assist with budget monitoring, expense tracking, and quarterly reports as required by each grant. 25%Procurement & Contract Administration: 25%Assist with grant contract negotiation. Review and route CE grant contracts and proposals for submission to outside organizations and LSU.Creates purchase orders and submits payment requests for grant program vendors in compliance with University and State procurement policies.Foundation Account Support: 20%
Monitor and reconcile LSU Foundation accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with donor restrictions and university policies.Prepare monthly reconciliations and financial statements for Foundation accounts, ensuring transparency and proper stewardship of funds. Work with Business Office leadership to provide guidance on appropriate use of Foundation funds.Other duties as assigned. 5%**Minimum Qualifications:**Bachelor's degree**Preferred Qualifications:**Bachelor's degree with 0-3 years of experience*Degree Substitute: LSU values skills, experience, and expertise.
