Responsibilities

Greet customer warmly and assess reason for visit

The Assistant Service Advisor/Writer is responsible for the entire customer service experience until vehicle is turned back over to the customer

Generate estimates, suggest services and advise of any current promotional products/services

Advise customers on the routine care of their vehicles and the value of maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications

Communicate to the customer on targeted completion time.

Follow up with progress calls and/or emails to customers regarding any changes in the estimate or pick up time

Document repair and maintenance changes on repair order

Resolve customer complaints and questions

Establish and maintain strong positive working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business

The Service Advisor will maintain Customer Service Index (CSI) ratings as set by dealership service manager

Qualifications

Experience is preferred

Excellent customer service skills

Strong written and communication skills

Consistent and stable work history

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Professional appearance and work ethic

Great organizational skills

Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
