No more waiting for direct deposit or a paper check!**Taylor.****Your Opportunity:** Taylor Corporation is looking for a **Quality Inspector to join our 3rd shift team.****Your Responsibilities:**
• Use your eye for detail to verify that the final work product (statements and letters) matches written instructions and meets production standards
• Examine material by confirming required manufacturing or industry specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
• Return products for rework if needed and complete documentation to confirm rework
• Explain to operators and supervisors how the product doesn’t match client instructions
• Walk around to different machines to verify job accuracy
• Cross-train in different departments to further develop your skills (postal, shipping, hand table)
• Report problems or concerns with quality results to senior management immediately
• Ensure that all items going out the door are 100% accurate
• Input data into the production database
• Learn about our production process and the role that QA plays in it
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with regulations
• Inspect materials and products for conformance to specifications using fixed or preset measuring instruments
• Ensure materials and products meet tolerance levels for quality and performance and are not irregular or damaged**Your Shift:**
Sunday - Monday | 10:00pm - 6:00am**You Must Have:**
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic measuring skills – able to read a ruler and other measurement devices
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills (open, save, print a file, enter data)
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on the production schedule
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal**Requirements Within This Position:**
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull, and/or carry)**We Would Also Prefer:**
• Prior experience within the print industry or a fast-paced, high-production environmentThe anticipated hourly range for this position is **$17–18.** The actual base rate offered depends on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, education level, certifications or licenses held, and the location from which the applicant will perform the job.
