Quality Inspector Responsibilities

Verify that final work products, including statements and letters, meet written job instructions and production standards Examine materials by confirming required manufacturing or industry specifications through visual inspection and measurement Reject and return unacceptable materials and complete documentation for rework when required Clearly explain quality issues to operators and supervisors when products do not match customer instructions Walk the production floor to verify job accuracy across multiple machines Cross‑train in other departments to broaden skills, including postal, shipping, and hand table operations Report quality issues or concerns to senior management promptly Ensure all finished items leaving the facility are 100% accurate Enter quality and production data into internal systems Learn and understand the full production process and the role quality plays within it Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following safety standards, procedures, and legal requirements Shift

Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Requirements

Strong attention to detail Basic measuring skills, including the ability to read a ruler and other measurement devices Basic problem‑solving skills Basic computer skills, including opening, saving, printing files, and entering data Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on production needs Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal Physical Requirements

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information so others will understand Regularly required to remain in a stationary position Constantly operates machinery and handles products, including printed materials Frequently required to move throughout the facility Regularly lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25+ pounds Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in the print industry or a fast‑paced, high‑production environment 3 to 5 years of related experience Compensation

Anticipated hourly range: $18.00 to $22.50. The actual base offered depends on several factors, including qualifications, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
