Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy diesel equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems before they escape.
Replace or repair defective parts, such as engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, particularly with heavy equipment.
Strong understanding of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
You should be proficient in:

OSHA 10‑Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
ASE Automobile and Light Truck Certification Tests
