Power BI Analyst
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Position: Hybrid/Onsite
Pay Range: $60.00 - $65.00 (Negotiable)
Position Overview Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to deliver actionable insights.
Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet stakeholder requirements.
Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
Collaboration: Work closely with business units to understand their data needs and deliver effective BI solutions.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions and dashboards.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including data sources, models, and processes.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and reliability of data and reports through rigorous testing and validation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Power BI Analyst or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
Experience with data integration, data modeling, and database management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik.
Knowledge of SQL and other database querying languages.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
Experience in the public sector or with municipal data.
