About The Role
As a Practice Support Analyst – eDiscovery Operations, you will support the eDiscovery vendor program for the Practice Support Services team, managing project prioritization, deadline negotiation, and expectation management for case teams and Project Managers. The role is located in Los Angeles, New York, or Washington D.C. and requires Pacific Time Zone hours.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Aiding in developing the firm's relationships with eDiscovery service providers by attending regular meetings to discuss performance, evaluating new services, and ensuring compliance with the firm's security, data management, and data privacy standards
Leveraging the standard workflow for procuring eDiscovery and managed document review providers, including using template client service agreements and escalating issues to subject matter experts
Supporting the eDiscovery Operations team in the screening process for contract attorney candidates, contributing to the development of standard forms and procedures for screening candidates, and facilitating exception requests for disqualified candidates
Maintaining and updating a current repository of vendor information, including contacts, pricing, mergers and acquisitions, client engagements, and services offered
Collaborating with management to track Project Manager team compliance with matter vendor tracking and data disposition requirements
Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

Display the ability to organize, execute, and monitor projects to achieve required project objectives
Possess well-developed organizational skills required to manage time, plan and prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
Demonstrate knowledge of legal concepts and methodologies
And have:
A high school diploma or an equivalent
A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent, preferably; a minimum of five (5) years of directly relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
A minimum of three (3) years of paralegal, practice support or administrative experience
Experience reviewing and negotiating eDiscovery vendor contracts, preferably
