Taylor Sudden Service is seeking a skilled and motivated
Industrial Field Service Mechanic
to join our team. This role is essential in delivering top‑tier post‑sales service, maintaining customer satisfaction, and reinforcing our reputation in the field.
Location: Panama City Beach Area | Travel Required
What You’ll Do:
Diagnose and repair diesel and hydraulic equipment on‑site.
Plan service schedules with the Service Supervisor based on customer needs.
Perform inspections, installations, and operator training during machine delivery.
Maintain accurate service records for billing and reporting.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve complex issues.
Train and supervise junior mechanics on large‑scale jobs.
Represent the company professionally with a clean appearance and well‑maintained service truck.
What You Bring:
Vocational training or formal education in hydraulics and diesel engine repair.
Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience (schooling may substitute).
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Basic computer skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and climb.
Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.
Must pass the tacker welding test; encouraged to pursue AWSD14 Welding Test for advancement.
