About The Role As a Programme Facilitator, you lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of our Space. You strive to create engaging, nurturing experiences for whānau and pēpi.

Duties

Planning and set up of the sessions ensuring any equipment is safe and clean

Leading discussions, music and movement, play, crafts, and kai time

Building relationships with whānau and contributing to a safe, welcoming environment

Ensuring session admin tasks are completed in a timely manner

Position Details

Commences on 20 April 2026

Thursdays 8:30am 12:00pm & Fridays 12:30pm 4:00pm, 7 hours per week

Availability to work one or both of the above shifts

Permanent role during term time only

About You You are reliable, work well with others, and feel confident supporting whānau in a group setting. This role offers a chance to build your experience, develop new skills, and make a positive impact in families’ parenting journeys.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Course 3 of the Playcentre Education Diploma or equivalent ECE Qualification (L4 or above desired)

Current First Aid Certificate

Proven ability to engage confidently and build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders

Strong organisational capabilities, including time management, meeting deadlines, multitasking, and balancing detail with overall objectives

NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
