About The Role As a Programme Facilitator, you lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of Space sessions. You strive to create engaging, nurturing experiences for whānau and pēpi.
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
Planning and setup of the sessions ensuring any equipment is safe and clean
Leading discussions, music and movement, play, crafts, and kai time
Building relationships with whānau and contributing to a safe, welcoming environment
Ensuring session admin tasks are completed in a timely manner
Position Details
Commences on 26 January 2026
Monday 12:30pm – 4:00pm, 3.5 hours per week
Permanent role during school term time only

About You You are reliable, work well with others, and feel confident supporting whānau in a group setting. This role offers a chance to build your experience, develop new skills, and make a positive impact in families’ parenting journeys. You will also demonstrate:
Minimum Course 3 of the Playcentre Education Diploma or equivalent ECE Qualification (L4 or above desired)
Ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong organisational capabilities, including time management, meeting deadlines, multitasking, and balancing detail with overall objectives
Hold a current First Aid Certificate or be prepared to complete this
NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
