Lead Recruiter, NextGen Engineering at Insight Global About the Role We are seeking a Program Manager to join a multi-disciplinary team supporting installation engineering and management functions for the U.S. Air Force Academy. This role plays a critical part in ensuring state-of-the-art facilities for cadets and future Air Force leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the Facility Asset Management Plan (AMP) and coordinate project authorizations.
Apply technical knowledge of Air Force Instructions (AFI 32-1032, AFI 32-1023) for planning and programming maintenance, repair, and construction projects.
Define project scopes to meet mission needs and articulate benefits and impacts.
Assist in writing and processing DoD Form 1391 for FSRM and MILCON projects.
Develop rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimates using government-provided software.
Prepare detailed deliverables: justifications, space calculations, site plans, funding timelines.
Advise on Base Comprehensive Asset Management Plan (BCAMP) and Congressional funding documentation.
Support pre-acquisition efforts and generate project lists (BCAMP, MILCON, UMMC, ERCIP).
Collaborate with Civil Engineering Operations Flight and other mission partners.
Perform other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to pass a government background check.
U.S. Citizenship (naturalized or native-born).
