Business Development Executive (BDE) Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: 2+ years in Business Development / Sales

Industry: IT Staffing, IT Services, Consulting, Workforce Solutions

Base Pay Range $35,000.00/yr - $45,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Conduct high‑volume cold calls to identify and qualify new business opportunities

Execute strategic LinkedIn outreach campaigns (connection requests, messaging, follow‑ups) targeting Procurement & Vendor Management teams

Research and identify potential clients using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, job boards, CRM tools, and market intelligence platforms

Introduce Vailexa’s staffing and consulting capabilities to prospective clients

Schedule and coordinate introductory calls, discovery meetings, and follow‑ups with decision‑makers

Understand client pain points related to staffing, cost optimization, time‑to‑hire, and skill gaps

Maintain long‑term relationships with prospects for future opportunities

Own and manage the end‑to‑end sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure (in collaboration with leadership)

Maintain an accurate and up‑to‑date CRM pipeline

Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets

Provide weekly and monthly sales activity and performance reports

Work closely with Recruiting, Delivery, and Leadership teams to align client needs with available talent

Stay current on market trends, competitor offerings, and client hiring patterns

Share insights on client feedback, pricing trends, and market demand

Qualifications

2+ years of sales or business development experience (IT Staffing or IT Services preferred)

Proven experience with cold calling and outbound sales

Strong hands‑on experience using LinkedIn for lead generation and client outreach

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and decision‑makers

Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills

Self‑driven, target‑oriented, and comfortable working in a high‑performance environment

Experience selling IT staffing, contract staffing, or consulting services

Familiarity with enterprise clients, system integrators, or MSP/VMS environments
