Position Summary
The Operations Analyst supports the operational efficiency and profitability of the fuel distribution business by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights across logistics, supply chain, inventory, and customer delivery operations. The role partners closely with operations leadership, dispatch, supply, accounting, and sales to improve processes, reduce costs, and support data‑driven decision‑making.
Responsibilities
Create metrics to manage the performance of dispatchers, drivers, and customer service teams.
Identify baseline activity by operations department for customer service reps and dispatch to determine staffing needs.
Analyze and interpret operational data, recommend improvements, and implement changes effectively.
Work across departments to achieve process changes and improve performance metrics.
Maintain a proven track record of driving meaningful improvements and contributing to operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with experience in supply chain management.
Experience with dispatch software and supply chain operations is highly preferred.
Proven ability to gather data, make recommendations, and implement changes.
Benefits / Compensation
Competitive salary: $70,000 – $85,000
401(k) with 2% annual company contribution
