IT Help Desk Technician – Support Specialist

Must have: Self‑motivated individual eager to learn, excellent communication and troubleshooting skills, general understanding of computer systems, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid driver’s license.
Preferred: One year in a help desk role and familiarity with Windows operating systems.
We are looking for a self‑motivated individual who is eager to learn and possesses excellent communication and troubleshooting skills. The ideal candidate should have a general understanding of computer systems and the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. A valid driver’s license is also necessary. Preferred experience includes at least one year in a help desk role and familiarity with Windows operating systems.
Responsibilities As part of our IT Help Desk Support team, you will manage incoming requests from end users through phone and email, addressing issues with courtesy and efficiency. Tasks include researching solutions, escalating problems to the systems administrator as needed, and documenting all help desk requests, processes, and actions taken. You will apply various tools for troubleshooting, oversee workstation patching, and familiarize yourself with the software and hardware supported by our company. Hands‑on tasks such as setting up, installing, and upgrading equipment, testing systems to ensure functionality, updating documentation for network systems, users, computers, and other equipment, and may take on extra duties as assigned.
