Northrop Grumman is looking for a seasoned program manager to serve as the Deputy to the Director of GN&C GSI IPT, based in Roy, UT, supporting the Sentinel program. Location : Roy, UT Job Type : Full‑time Seniority Level : Mid‑Senior Relocation assistance may be available.

Travel: Yes, 25% of the time. What You Will Do
Act as Delegate of Authority to the GN&C GSI Director, overseeing program execution and making decisions on their behalf. Provide oversight of project execution in collaboration with GSI product team leads—Systems Engineering, Integration & Test, Analysis & Algorithms, and Software—to ensure effective implementation of program goals and deliverables. Execute the Sentinel program operational rhythm, maintaining momentum and ensuring timely progress at all program phases. Lead proposal efforts, develop comprehensive proposals that meet organizational standards and customer needs, and integrate successful proposals into the program baseline. Develop and implement strategies to efficiently execute the full scope of work for various initiatives, promoting continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives. Track and report on program performance and execution metrics for cost and schedule, including Earned Value Management (EVMS). Establish and track progress toward key project milestones in accordance with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Assist in developing and providing status updates for IPT inputs to the program risk and opportunity management system. Program Manager Responsibilities
Manage a program or a function within the larger organizational unit, setting and operating to objectives and providing guidance to subordinates based on goals, objectives, and company policy. Plan, manage risk, and oversee project performance addressing cost, schedule, and technical quality for related WBS elements on a large system development‑type contract or full responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a large technical services‑type contract. Maintain an advanced level of understanding in a specialized field or general understanding of several diverse disciplines, with a broad grasp of involved practices and procedures. Analyze alternative courses of action, making decisions that have risk/reward implications for program or area of influence. Help meet established schedules or resolve technical or operational problems, typically achieving results through lower‑level management or exempt employees. Exert influence in developing overall objectives and long‑range goals of the organization; erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in critical consequences. Position Benefits

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience; or Master’s degree and 6 years of related experience; or additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree. U.S. citizenship with an active DoD Secret Clearance dated within the last 6 years. Ability to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances within a reasonable amount of time to meet business needs. Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of related experience. Proven leader, problem solver, strong work ethic, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to brief Segment, Program, and Customer leadership. Experience leading interdisciplinary, major program event efforts on defense or aerospace programs. Experience working across multiple functional organizations (Engineering, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, Logistics, etc.). Familiarity with Northrop Grumman build execution, processes, procedures, tools, and metrics. Experience as an EVMS Control Account Manager (CAM). Experience with ICBM programs. Experience with complex system development on large programs. Experience in system sell‑off and delivery to the customer. Active TS Clearance and Special Program Access. Experience managing people. Primary Level Salary Range: $166,700.00 – $250,100.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; compensation is determined by scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses. Applicants may be eligible for long‑term incentives and a variety of benefits, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays, and paid time off.
