WORK TYPE : Hybrid
LOCATION DETAILS : 14460 Varsity Brands Way, Farmers Branch, TX 75244
WORK HOURS : Shift hours Monday through Thursday, 8am-5pm, Friday Remote
This position is
not eligible for relocation assistance . Candidates must currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance of our Farmers Branch location and be able to work onsite as required.
How You Will Make An Impact Varsity Brands is looking to hire a
Vendor Operations Analyst
who is responsible for ensuring data integrity and accuracy related to materials within Merchandising. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP functionality and how it supports material management, including product costs, attributes, and pricing. Working closely with the Merchandising team and cross‑functional partners—such as Marketing, IT, Category Management, and Demand/Supply Planning—the Vendor Operations Analyst supports accurate Material Master data to enhance system reliability, improve processes, and enable an efficient, seamless experience for downstream teams.
What You Will Do Vendor Management & Cross‑Functional Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor management activities.
Initiate and support vendor onboarding and maintenance within the Ariba platform.
Coordinate and communicate Vendor Territory Reporting (VTR) to internal and external stakeholders.
Liaise with cross‑functional teams to support and troubleshoot vendor EDI issues and identify improvement opportunities.
Project Support & Process Management
Coordinate and track DSCO project activities, timelines, and deliverables.
Act as a liaison across functional groups to support Anaplan‑related projects and workflow integrations.
Coordinate, manage, and communicate rebate tracking processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Analyze and troubleshoot errors on DSCO file feeds prior to downloading into SAP.
Data Integrity & System Accuracy
Maintain understanding of SAP and its relationship to material management.
Support Merchandising in upholding product data integrity, including costs, attributes, and pricing within SAP and related systems.
Interpret data and identify trends from vendors to provide insight on future programs.
Gather and assess data that provides year‑to‑date rebate accruals.
Other Duties
Support continuous improvement initiatives within product data processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Self‑motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to manage large datasets accurately.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Demonstrated commitment to customer‑centric values and the company’s SPIRIT principles.
Education/ Experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
3+ years of experience in product merchandising, product support, or a related field.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is strongly preferred.
