Responsibilities
Coach the staff to deliver amazing customer service
Produce high‑quality food
Deliver the Jersey Mike's experience
Handle cash
Follow the Learning Management System Training Program
Develop others for career growth
Enforce policies and procedures
Participate in local and national marketing initiatives
Build sales
Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation practices in the establishment
Be certified in all four positions of the restaurant
Communicate effectively
Have a sense of urgency
Move or transport up to 50 lbs without assistance (unless a medical notation is provided; ADA or a temporary doctor’s note will be considered)
Work 38‑40 hours per week
Maintain reliable transportation to and from work
Communicate with the GM/AGM/DM of any issues you are having
Lead by example in quality of food, customer interaction, and appearance (clean, fitted, pressed uniform daily)
Create food consistent with Jersey Mikes high‑quality standards
Maintain restaurant cleaner than others
Work in a fast‑paced, team‑driven atmosphere
Multitask with a sense of urgency
Interface with customers and provide an exceptional experience
Understand and exhibit accountability and integrity
Key holder and manage opening and closing duties
Knowledge of baking bread and all prep tasks
Manage and lead a crew of 2 to 5 people
Proficient in slicing
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
1 year QSR experience preferred
Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer
SafeServe Certification – Food Handler required
Must have reliable transportation
