NTG Staffing
We are seeking a detail-oriented Signage Estimator to join a growing signage manufacturing company. Reporting directly to the VP, you will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates for custom signage projects, including channel letters, neon, electronic signs, monuments, and other architectural signage. This is an in‑office role where you will work closely with sales and project teams to support profitable project bids and ensure high‑quality execution.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and project details to develop accurate project pricing.
Provide full‑service estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and installation requirements.
Review bids and proposals for alignment with design intent, budgets, and timelines.
Collaborate with sales and project management teams to support profitable pricing strategies.
Track and analyze material costs, labor rates, and market trends to inform competitive pricing.
Identify value engineering opportunities to reduce costs without sacrificing quality.
Conduct post‑project profitability reviews and participate in bid review meetings.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
3+ years of experience in custom fabrication sign estimating for complex signage projects.
Ability to interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
Familiarity with fabrication processes, materials, and installation logistics.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Deep understanding of custom sign manufacturing timelines, fabrication processes, and cost‑analysis methodologies.
Experience coordinating multiple projects in a fast‑paced, growing environment.
