Position We are currently hiring a
Project Manager
to oversee an expanding low voltage division within our company. This position is located at our Emmetsburg site. We are looking for candidates who are innovative, self‑motivated, and possess exceptional decision‑making skills.
Responsibilities In this role, candidates must be able to build and maintain relationships with customers, employees, and other trades. They must have a strong knowledge of installing, terminating, and testing technology systems, fiber optic placing and splicing. Candidates must be able to adapt to changing work environments, actively engage with K&W Electric, Inc.’s safety policies, and maintain a positive image of themselves and the Company.
Requirements
Strong understanding of structured wiring and related technology
Previous experience in low voltage or structured cabling
Strong knowledge of installing, terminating, and testing technology systems, fiber optic placing and splicing
Ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams and equipment drawings
Knowledge of networking principles
Exceptional decision‑making and troubleshooting skills
Ability to manage personnel in the installation of low voltage cabling systems
Ability to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously
BICSI RCDD Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
Valid Driver’s License with ability to meet company driving standards
Two‑year completion of an electrical program
High School Diploma/Equivalency
Successfully passing drug and background screenings
