We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well-respected Chicago-based builder known for delivering high-quality commercial, institutional, healthcare, and multi-family projects. This individual will lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of assigned projects, from planning and procurement through construction and turnover.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
Coordinate and communicate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Oversee contract administration, change orders, and risk management.
Lead project meetings and ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and deliverables.
Monitor field progress and support superintendents in maintaining safety, quality, and productivity.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Provide mentorship and guidance to project engineers and support staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
5+ years of project management experience with a general contractor or construction manager.
Proven track record delivering commercial, institutional, or healthcare projects in the $5M–$50M+ range.
Strong budgeting, scheduling, and negotiation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
