Full-Time | Onsite Position Overview A well-established
electrical contractor in Los Angeles
is seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to oversee commercial and institutional electrical projects from award through closeout. This role is responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring safety, quality, and profitability. Key Responsibilities Project Management & Execution Manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction turnover through completion. Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts. Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure scope clarity and compliance. Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, and field teams to ensure efficient execution. Prepare and track project cost reports, change orders, and billings. Review and negotiate change orders with general contractors and owners. Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted scopes. Ensure timely invoicing and collections. Coordination & Communication Serve as the primary point of contact with general contractors, owners, and design teams. Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and coordination sessions. Coordinate closely with estimating during project handoff and change management. Safety, Quality & Closeout Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and site requirements. Ensure electrical work meets code, quality standards, and project specifications. Manage project closeout including as-builts, O&M manuals, testing, and turnover. Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing projects for an
electrical contractor . Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems (power, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage a plus). Experience managing projects in LA/SoCal markets (commercial, healthcare, education, TI, mixed-use). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
