A well‑established aerospace‑certified metal finishing manufacturer is seeking a hands‑on Quality Manager to lead our quality department and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS 9100, and Nadcap standards.
In this role, you will manage a team of 5, oversee customer quality relations, and maintain the highest standards in our inspection and testing processes. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve issues, improve systems, and uphold our reputation for excellence.

What You’ll Do
Lead ISO, AS, and Nadcap audit preparations and compliance
Manage document control, corrective actions, and preventive action systems
Oversee calibration programs, internal audits, and PPAP/FAI/APQP processes
Build strong relationships with customers to ensure quality satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
10+ years in technical/manufacturing roles with 5+ in quality leadership
Experience managing certified quality systems (ISO, AS, TS, Nadcap)
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and manufacturing software
Knowledge of special processes (metal finishing, heat treating, NDT) a plus
Comfortable on the production floor, hands‑on problem solver
Location:
Onsite in Rockford, IL — ideal candidates live within 30–45 miles or have a proven history of commuting.
