Position Title: Admission and Enrollment Navigation Advisor Requisition Number: H01964P Position Category: Hourly/Work Study Campus Location: Community Education Center - Ogden, UT Hours per week: 29 Months per year: 5 Alternate work schedule: Yes Pay Grade: Salary Hourly Pay Rate Hourly Pay Rate: $17 Job Summary
The Admission and Enrollment Navigator is a key member of the new College Exploration Hub. This accessible, student-centered resource integrates financial aid, scholarships, admissions support, and exploratory advising into a single service point. The Navigator provides direct guidance to complex learners, including high school students, first‑generation students, technical college transition students, adult learners, and Building Puentes participants. The advisor works with other staff to develop and facilitate college preparation workshops on a variety of topics, such as admissions, mapping your path, CTE, etc. Position is part‑time until May 2026, up to 29 hours a week with possibility for additional time pending funding. Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree One year of experience in student services and advising, or a combination of education and experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Ability to learn university systems such as admissions, scholarships, financial aid, and advising tools. Evening availability and some weekends Spanish-speaking Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education, college access programming, or student services. Knowledge of financial aid processes, FAFSA, and scholarship systems. Experience facilitating workshops or community presentations. Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite. Fluent in Spanish. Background Check
