About The Role As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will develop a team responsible for providing full building operations and maintenance for a campus of office buildings with an approximate $4M annual operating budget.
What You’ll Do
Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and mentor staff. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Schedule and lead the team's daily activities: establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross‑train staff, set and track departmental deadlines, and coach as needed.
Coordinate and run facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
Maintain client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
Prepare and handle capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
Perform facility inspections and quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety standard processes.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3‑5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention.
Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
