Position: Procurement and Logistics Coordinator
Responsibilities PROCUREMENT
Responsible for procurement for all areas of production, which includes effective monthly consolidation of order requests, timely placement of approved orders, tracking the status of all orders and following-up and negotiating with vendors when necessary.
Dynamically manage vendors and insulate the business with secondary sources, when possible, especially with respect to uniquely critical components.
BUSINESS PLANNING
Serve as the bridge between the Commercial function of the business (as well as the global Domes Pharma Supply Chain function) and the Manufacturing functions of the Salt Lake facility to ensure stock levels are built to meet actual and future demand.
Manage customers purchase orders and prepare packing list for Supply Chain Associate.
Iteratively update and drive a dynamic demand planning model that ensures all necessary ordering of components, chemicals, consumables, and equipment is completed in a manner that supports the production plan for the business.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Responsible for inventory accuracy all year long, physical and electronically (ERP).
Effectively track and manage all aspects of inventory at the Salt Lake facility, including but not limited to: cycle counts, year-end inventory counting, collection and consolidation of order request forms.
GLOBAL ALIGNMENT / LOGISTICS COORDINATION
Communicate effectively and iteratively with Warehouse Associate and provide backup when needed.
Communicate effectively and iteratively with global Supply Chain counterparts in the organization to ensure that stock levels are built to support demand.
Education/Experience 3-5 years of professional experience in procurement or related activities is preferred or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 1-3 years experience.
Benefits and Work Expectations This is a full-time salaried position and fully benefitted. Benefits include a rich package for medical, dental, vision, disability, as well as a company matched 401k program. Hours of operation are generally Monday through Friday with typical business hours on site. Target start date January 12th, 2026. Salary range (depending on experience) $45 000 – $60 000.
Requirements
Experience in procurement or business planning experience
Ability to communicate effectively across the entire organization at all levels.
Ability to communicate, problem solve and negotiate effectively with vendors.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products, primarily Excel.
Experience with ERP systems, SAP experience is a plus.
Detail oriented and able to multitask.
