Position Overview The Risk Analyst will focus on fraud risk analytics, reporting, and improvement of fraud countermeasures within Credit One Bank’s credit card operations.
Responsibilities
Analyze data for trends and recommend strategies to reduce fraud loss.
Develop, implement, and evaluate fraud risk strategies.
Perform tracking, reporting, and prepare presentations on key performance fraud indicators.
Conduct ad hoc analyses and support decision‑making.
Partner and collaborate with Operations, Compliance, and IT teams.
Take initiative to improve reporting processes and assist the team.
Be responsible for scorecard validations and tracking.
Balance priorities to meet multiple deadlines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in economics, finance, business, mathematics or a related field.
3+ years analytical experience in banking, finance, insurance, or gaming.
3+ years advanced use of at least one of the following: Microsoft Access, SQL Server, Oracle, or SAS.
Proficiency in data mining and financial modeling procedures.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Self‑starter who can work independently on several projects at once.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
Knowledge of financial analysis and profitability drivers.
