Purchasing Specialist - Remote (Mountain or Pacific Time Zones) Remote

Purchasing Specialists at GuidePoint Security LLC ("GuidePoint") are responsible for processing all customer orders, ensuring completeness and accuracy, processing all internal procurement, and communicating with internal and external customers to ensure timely delivery. This position is a remote/virtual position working from a home office. Please note, we are requiring candidates to reside in Mountain or Pacific time zones for this role or have the ability to support those business hours.

Role and Responsibilities:

Ensures timely processing of customer orders meeting service-level agreement standards

Issues accurate purchase orders to vendors

Tracks all product related line items (hardware, software, maintenance, etc.) for proof of delivery and follows up with vendors for all unfulfilled items

Reconciles vendor invoicing discrepancies

Works closely with different sales groups to ensure that all transactional contracts are complete, accurate, and meet all internal booking requirements

Communicates effectively and professionally with internal and external partners

Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

BA/BS in Business Administration or equivalent work experience

2-3 years' purchasing experience, or relevant roles

Attention to detail is a must

Analytical and critical thinker

Ability to collect and analyze data efficiently

Possesses the ability to self-manage and adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected shifts in priorities while maintaining focus and productivity in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work a flexible work schedule is required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
