Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, components, and MRO items.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings.
Issue purchase orders and manage their lifecycle to ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor supplier performance, addressing issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
Collaborate with production and planning to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
Identify and implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality or supply.
Manage supplier relationships and foster long-term partnerships.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience in direct purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for procurement.
Strong negotiation and strategic supplier relationship management skills.
Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and manufacturing processes.
Solid understanding of supply chain management principles, including inventory control and logistics.
Bonus Qualifications
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with specific ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365).
Technical understanding of manufacturing processes, components, or materials relevant to the industry.
Exposure to global sourcing and international supply chain dynamics.
