Overview The Business Development Executive (BDE) will lead activities in selected target markets to identify and assist high‑volume healthcare opportunities. The BDE will help develop, implement and execute a marketing plan, ensuring active involvement in all industry‑specific activities and associations.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

Identify and qualify new business opportunities within hospitals and surgery centers.

Maintain pre‑set standards and controls for healthcare processes.

Exceed quota on rental and direct sale of new business for the selected market.

Conduct periodic education and training sessions as requested by senior sales leadership.

Develop and present professional proposals and presentations.

Utilize the approved Vestis sales‑force automation tool to record daily sales activities, create schedules, and provide comprehensive updates on prospects and their movement through the sales funnel.

Implement Account Executive prospect management processes and monitor the prospect management report.

Develop a schedule of regular meetings with the BDE’s territory sales team and coordinate communication with Sales Managers, Directors of Sales, and operations management.

Initiate regular target‑account strategy meetings with appropriate Sales and Operations team members.

Provide input on marketing campaigns and plans, and support their execution.

Attend tradeshows and industry events, and become an active member of industry‑specific associations.

Develop relationships with Vestis operations and sales support teams.

Share best practices with other BDEs.

Ensure adherence to sales policies, including commission plans, account size, minimums, national account policies, lead process, and regional account processes.

Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Sales experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong presentation skills.

Knowledge of sales‑force systems.

Strong customer service skills.

Working Environment / Safety Requirements

Five‑to‑seven years of experience in sales and marketing within the uniform industry is preferred.

Travel Requirements

Must be willing to travel up to 50%.
