Key Responsibilities

Drive the work on the project; set priorities, procedures, scope and schedule; coordinate team member assignments and obtain resource commitment for all commissioning disciplines.

Manage assigned projects through all stages of the project lifecycle: Project Initiation, Project Planning, Project Execution, Project Monitoring & Control, and Project Closure.

Lead and support the Commissioning team in active field reviews, testing, issue capture and resolution of mechanical, electrical and automation related technical services within facilities.

Develop commissioning plans, functional performance test scripts, and specifications; facilitate inspections and documentation of functional performance testing of mechanical, electrical and life safety systems.

Maintain contractual, business and financial records; keep stakeholders informed on project financial status.

Identify QA/QC requirements and schedule appropriate technical reviews.

Manage client expectations, prepare estimates for additional services, issue work authorizations, and obtain client approvals.

Cross‑sell services, identify opportunities to add revenue, and support business development efforts.

Develop and maintain purpose‑built tools, templates and standard deliverables to increase overall project quality and efficiency.

Travel domestically as required; maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Capabilities & Credentials

Comprehensive knowledge of commissioning practices within own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines.

Excellent organizational, time‑management, and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple priorities concurrently.

Strong leadership and team‑building skills; creates an environment of cooperation and cohesion.

Effective communication, written and oral; demonstrates strong presentation skills.

Adaptable, flexible, self‑motivated, and positive attitude.

Domestic travel required; valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Education & Experience

Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.

2+ years of Project Management experience in a related field.

Formal Project Management training (e.g., PMP) preferred or ability to achieve within one year of hire.

Compensation & Benefits

Locations in CO, HI, MD & various CA, NJ: Min Salary $82,600 – Max Salary $119,800.

Locations in WA, DC & various CA: Min Salary $88,600 – Max Salary $128,500.

Eligibility for bonus and pro‑rated compensation for part‑time roles.
