Product Development Administrator Pay Range:

$27.00–$32.00 per hour (based on skills and experience)

Location:

Los Angeles, CA (currently remote; will transition to office)

Role Description: We have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Development Administrator. This position’s focus will include creating a variety of communication decks, handling administrative duties and interfacing with all touchpoints of the Product Development process. The role also involves maintaining calendars and timelines, creating workflow materials, trafficking submission feedback, compiling line sheets, scheduling, and other support activities. The position supports Spiralcute International, Inc., and is based in Los Angeles—currently remote with a future transition to the office.

Job Responsibilities:

Administrative assistant providing high‑quality support to the Brand Assurance Team.

Schedule meetings, manage calendars, coordinate travel, maintain tracking documents, and provide general administrative and operational support to ensure smooth team operations.

Assist in preparing meeting materials, agendas, and presentations.

Take meeting notes and track follow‑up actions as needed.

Help organize department events and team meetings, ensuring logistics and communications run smoothly.

Support cross‑functional coordination within the Product Development Team and with external partners.

Monitor competitors, product innovation, brand awareness, and retail trends through curious exploration and research.

Create layouts with strong typography and appropriate use of color, images, and fonts to ensure readability and clear action in communication decks.

Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure the highest quality support for creative needs, including product mockups, and design communication tools that visually convey business objectives.

Manage project and partner timelines while maintaining high attention to detail.

Troubleshoot approval issues and creative needs.

Initiate and track status of contractual samples, receive and inventory all samples.

Ensure licensees adhere to their launch plan by proactively setting up meetings, tracking milestones, and flagging potential timing impacts.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in a design‑related field is required.

Multilingual: Japanese + English is desirable, not required.

2–3 years of experience working with style guides in licensing, marketing, advertising, or brand.

Knowledge of hardlines and softlines categories and the defining characteristics for each.

Ability to manipulate graphics and create presentations.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Eagerness to learn, adapt, and be proactive in a rapidly changing environment.

Excellent relationship builder with a collaborative team‑player mentality.

Maintain a confident, friendly rapport with all partners while negotiating for compliance.

Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment that revolves around multiple departments and product development calendars.

Computer software skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, InDesign.
