Description NBCUniversal is hiring a Platform Operations Associate primarily responsible for the on‑platform execution of VOD content under the Telemundo network, as well as other NBCUniversal brands. The Platform Operations team ensures the readiness of the streaming library by managing the artwork, metadata, and related assets that power it, including alternative and custom assets used in audience segmentation and multi‑variant testing. It’s a 24/7 operation responsible for updating content based on performance, strategy, and events unfolding in real time. In coordination with Product, Marketing, and Customer Support teams in addition to other stakeholders, this role will be involved in product enhancements, metadata optimization, and feature expansions that keep Peacock evolving and current in the streaming landscape.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of building and scheduling Telemundo’s VOD content, immersive pages, and title contextual features.
Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of building and scheduling NBCUniversal’s brand environments (Bravo, NBC News, etc.).
Ideate and collaborate on new product enhancements by advising on the operational implementation that would bring said experience to life.
Provide additional support for tentpole initiatives across NBCUniversal verticals, including high‑profile content launches, breaking news events, and marquee sporting events.
Evaluate incidents to identify immediate solutions and work with the Impact team to elevate issues to the proper departments if necessary.
Liaise between Merchandising Strategy, Product, Ad Sales, and Programming teams to ensure that all parties are informed of platform scheduling.
Support the Manager of Platform Operations in process optimizations, product enhancements, and both strategic and creative decision‑making.
Qualifications
Required:
Proficient in spoken and written Spanish and English.
2+ years’ experience working on digital media platforms.
2+ years of experience managing title operations or publishing at a large‑scale merchandising, e‑commerce, or video service.
Experience with CMS toolsets.
Experience with AirTable.
Excellent organization, communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly and concisely articulate workflows and concepts for a variety of audiences.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes for efficiencies and help develop new workflows for continual improvement for platform operations.
Excellent writing and presentation skills.
Preferred Characteristics
Hands‑on experience managing complex publishing projects.
Comfort working with a range of content management systems and software tools.
Strong sense of ownership over accuracy and quality of work.
Ability to juggle multiple projects with different workflows and procedures.
Proven ability to set and meet deadlines for large‑volume content publishing.
Clear, consistent communication with cross‑functional teams.
Commitment to improving workflows and processes.
Maintain strong leadership skills and commitment to being a team player.
A passion for television, movies, sports, and news.
Additional Requirements
Hybrid:
This position is designated as hybrid, requiring office presence at least three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in‑office requirements at any time.
Benefits:
Eligible for company‑sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of discounts and perks. The Salary range is $65,000 ‑ $75,000 per year.
Compensation $65,000 – $75,000 per year
