What You'll Do As a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by utilizing multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) with hand and power tools to complete jobs. You will document repair activities in the work order management system, respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls, and inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
Minimum Qualifications
18 years or older
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years’ experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years’ experience in one of these trades.
1 year’s experience using intermediate‑level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Can lift up to 75 lbs.
Can move up and down ladders frequently
Comfortable working at heights frequently
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment.
Utilize the work order management system to receive and document reactive repair work orders.
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
