Overview
As a Quality Inspector, you will be the focal point for all QA/QC assessment for our Flexible Pipe Systems business. You will conduct qualitative risk assessments, root cause analysis and provide corrective actions. You will support the QMS by creating, editing and reviewing documents aligned with Baker Hughes global standards. Key responsibilities
Inspect parts, assemblies and subassemblies to required drawings and prints Initiate non-conformance reports on parts and assemblies that are not to drawing and print specifications Ensure manufactured units meet quality control procedures and engineering specifications, including customer requirements Initiate corrective action requests when quality conditions are adverse or repetitive Partner with manufacturing management and internal process teams to eliminate the causes of quality problems Complete, inspect and distribute all quality records and documents and perform specialized testing as required Verify tests as required on all components and completed assemblies Support 24/7 coverage with 12-hour shifts, starting on day shift for training and then moving to nights Read and correctly interpret prints/drawings and specifications Demonstrate understanding of defects and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and develop in a hands-on environment Display excellent communication and be a valuable team player Operate in a fast-paced and noisy environment with constant movement Regular lifting or moving up to 50 lbs Qualifications
Have a High School Diploma or equivalent Demonstrate proven experience in a Quality Technician or Inspection role Shifts
2nd shift: Monday – Friday from 3pm - 3am (12-hour shift, 4 to 6 days per week) Must be able to work some weekends About Trident
