Job Summary

Our client, a rapidly growing credit-oriented investment bank, is seeking a professional, team-oriented Office Manager to support its new, New York City office. This role is ideal for a low-ego, highly organized individual with experience in a professional services environment who thrives in a fast-paced setting. The Office Manager will oversee daily office operations, support senior leadership, partner closely with HR and IT, and ensure a welcoming, efficient, and client-service-driven workplace. Salary

$75-$80K Base Salary + Benefits Responsibilities

Oversee daily office operations, including coordination with vendors, building management, clients, candidates, and service providers Maintain reception, conference rooms, break rooms, and all common areas to a high professional standard Greet and manage visitors, ensuring a welcoming and client-focused office environment Manage office communications with internal and external stakeholders Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency Order and manage food, snacks, supplies, catering, inventory, and vendor contracts Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages Coordinate office logistics and resolve facilities-related issues with building management Liaise with IT and audio-visual vendors regarding equipment setup, troubleshooting, and inventory Serve as on-site representative for onboarding and offboarding, including workstation setup, IT equipment, parking, security access, and compliance documentation Partner with HR to support new hire orientation, employee engagement initiatives, and compliance reporting Coordinate candidate, client, and guest onsite visits, including transportation logistics and hospitality Provide administrative and project support to Managing Directors, including compliance support, special projects, and research as needed Requirements

Ability to work onsite in the office five days per week (typically 8:30am–5:00pm ET) Professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills Highly motivated, proactive self-starter with strong judgment and the ability to remain calm under pressure Intelligent, organized, resourceful, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills; comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels Demonstrates the firm’s core values: Hungry, Humble, and People Smart Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; familiarity with Teams, Zoom, Slack, or similar tools preferred Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism Prior experience in financial services or a professional services environment preferred Exposure to financial reporting processes or investment banking compliance strongly preferred About This Company
