Position Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi-craft Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated work and leadership characteristics required to achieve and maintain success in a multi-faceted manufacturing environment. They will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced production and facility equipment. This role involves a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing processes, including logical thought processes, working effectively as a team, recognizing potential problems, providing means for avoiding those problems, and proven talents in written and verbal communications.

Principle Accountabilities

Drive a zero Safety and Environmental Health incident culture by following all safety rules, participating in incident investigations to determine root causes and identify preventive measures, acting immediately to correct unsafe conditions, and participating in monthly safety initiatives.

Successfully execute preventative and predictive maintenance activities including inspecting, testing, and operating to reduce downtime and machine reliability. Maintain proper maintenance records, logs, reports, and systems as required.

Enter, manage, and complete work orders into the Advanced Maintenance Management System (AMMS), request, retrieve, and maintain stockroom spare parts, assist with min/max determinations, and return unused parts properly to the system and back to physical stockroom. Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on all equipment while looking for ways to improve PM programs by determining appropriate frequencies, updating job completion time estimates, and improving work procedures and checklists.

Partner with Process Engineers, the Maintenance Team, and Machine Operators to solve problems with root‑cause analysis and create preventative measures to ensure no recurrence. Support capital, equipment, and process changes and participate in continuous improvement work groups and support trials.

Perform maintenance related duties such as diagnosing causes of malfunctions and correcting them through programmable logic controllers, performing instrumentation calibrations, troubleshooting, improving and maintaining all equipment, performing rebuilds, minor welding, burning, brazing, fabrication, sheet metal, pipe fitting, lubrication, painting, electrical testing, measuring, conduit installation, soldering, and calibration.

Related tasks as requested by supervisor.

Essential Skills and Experience

High School diploma / G.E.D and 5 years of manufacturing multi‑craft maintenance experience, or 5 years military experience in a technical field, or an Associate's Degree in a technical field with two years of manufacturing experience.

CMRT certification is required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with a computerized maintenance management program.

Ability to work any shift (weekends, holidays, and overtime).

Must be able to perform essential functions such as lifting and moving up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting or kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders. Ability and willingness to operate a forklift are also required.

Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.
