$25.00/hr - $30.00/hr Lead Maintenance Technician
Main Purpose
Seeking a hands-on Lead Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining multifamily properties in optimal condition through the execution and coordination of maintenance activities. This role actively performs maintenance tasks while providing day-to-day guidance to technicians and coordinating with vendors to ensure units are safe, functional, and meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Property Oversight
Perform daily maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance. Conduct routine property and unit inspections using checklists. Identify, document, and address maintenance issues proactively. Make-Ready & Unit Turns
Execute and support unit turnovers, including repairs, painting coordination, and make-ready readiness. Prioritize and complete work orders efficiently to meet occupancy timelines. Vendor Coordination
Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs. Request quotes and monitor vendor performance to ensure quality and cost control. Preventive Maintenance
Support and execute preventive maintenance schedules. Ensure maintenance tasks are completed on time and meet quality expectations. Team Support & Coordination
Provide guidance and technical support to other maintenance technicians as needed. Assist with training and knowledge sharing within the maintenance team. Compliance & Reporting
Follow internal policies and applicable safety and maintenance regulations. Assist with tracking maintenance KPIs and reporting operational updates. Support documentation and communication with property management. Required Qualifications
Certification: EPA Certification Experience: 3–5+ years in multifamily maintenance or related field Technical Skills: Strong hands‑on experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently; Team‑oriented with a proactive mindset Languages: English (B2); Spanish (B2) Seniority level
