Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

Location: 100% onsite near Downey, CA

Position Overview The Director of Operations leads all manufacturing, production, and supply chain activities to ensure efficient, safe, and profitable delivery of high-quality products. This role focuses on operational excellence, process optimization, and strategic growth initiatives, driving collaboration across departments and aligning operations with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Direct daily operations across production, maintenance, logistics, and supply chain.

Develop strategies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and profitability.

Implement lean principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices.

Oversee equipment utilization, preventive maintenance, and capital planning.

Manage procurement and inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste.

Collaborate with executives on automation and technology‑driven improvements.

Lead organizational change initiatives to support growth and operational excellence.

Foster cross‑functional alignment with Engineering, Sales, HR, and Finance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.

8–10 years of progressive leadership in manufacturing operations.

Expertise in production management, process improvement, and team leadership.

Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and data‑driven decision‑making.

Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and production planning.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Solid financial acumen in cost control, margins, and budgeting.
