Quality Engineer

to join our team located in

Berkeley, MO!

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in one of the following relevant fields of study:

Engineering

Computer Science

Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology)

Mathematics

Physics

Chemistry

Position Responsibilities:

Supports development activities and leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements related to Mission Systems and Avionics.

Provides interpretation of complex requirements and assists design engineers with technical reviews including configuration change proposals, preliminary / critical design reviews, First Article Inspections, and Qualification testing.

Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.

Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities and Supplier Manufacturing Readiness Assessments (MRAs).

Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.

Leads and participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.

Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.

Initiate and implements corrective actions based on nonconformance trend analysis

Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.

Works under minimal direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study

3+ years of experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management

3+ years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)

3+ years of experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)

3+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Current American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certifications (CQA);(CQE); (CQT)

Experience in an avionics, electrical, and/or systems engineering role

Travel: This position may require up to 15% of domestic/international travel.

Shift: This position is for 1st shift

Summary pay range: USD $100,300 - $135,700
