Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled, medically focused optometrist to join their expanding team. This company has state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for their ophthalmologists, ensuring that their patients receive exceptional care. In this role, you will handle a high volume of patients, focusing on medical optometry, including cataract and glaucoma follow-ups, ocular disease management, and screenings for conditions appropriate for your license.
Two technicians and a scribe support each Optometrist.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct medically-focused eye exams and follow-ups, including managing patients with cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetes.
Collaborate with ophthalmologists to ensure optimal use of surgical resources.
Manage ocular disease and perform pre- and post-operative care.
Positions available in Orlando.

Requirements
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of a residency program in optometry is preferred.
Strong experience in medical optometry and ocular disease management.
Ability to manage a high patient volume efficiently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
