Territory Development Manager – Unilever Food Solutions
Location:
Remote – Los Angeles, CA
Overview Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) is the €3bn+ foodservice division of Unilever, leading dynamic Food Service market across 72 countries. UFS is accelerating digital transformation to fuel growth through data‑driven Go‑to‑Market capabilities.
Purpose of the Role As a Territory Development Manager you will drive sustainable business growth through engagement with Operators, Chains and Trade Partners. You will leverage an integrated digital ecosystem to expand reach and penetrate market share in your territory.
Key Responsibilities
Business Target Achievement
– Deliver sales growth, reach & penetration, digital engagement and customer presentations with Operators and Distributor Trade Partners.
Multi‑Touchpoint Contact Strategy
– Execute online and face‑to‑face engagement to generate demand for Food Solutions products and deliver excellent customer experience.
Digital & Virtual Culinary Consultation
– Provide virtual culinary consultation to targeted operators, showcasing menu applications.
Pipeline Management
– Use CRM Salesforce to manage workflow, prepare visit recommendations, and follow up on calls to close sales.
Order Coordination
– Secure and coordinate customer orders each month to ensure target growth.
Distributor & Trade Partner Collaboration
– Expand assortment, align priorities and source leads for customer follow‑through.
Key Activities
Convert business insights into activation solution selling.
Create concept solution selling from market trends.
Lead customers to the right solution and secure new opportunities.
Conduct F2F and virtual sampling, ideation, cooking demos to increase volume usage.
Implement contact matrix and promotions for key seasons and events.
Critical Skills
Hunting vs farming mindset (70% hunting).
Proficiency in AI usage, MS Office, Power BI and Excel.
Entrepreneurial, proactive solution creator.
Curiosity for market trends and premium brand selling stories.
Bilingual is a plus (Spanish, Mandarin).
Essential Experiences
CPG foodservice B2B sales experience.
Culinary/Chef selling experience.
Network of existing foodservice operator partners.
Distributor, ingredient or broker sales experience.
CRM (Salesforce) experience.
Operator sales experience.
Market/geographical knowledge.
Food university background.
Multi‑national corporate experience.

Compensation Pay range: $69,360 to $104,040. Bonus and LTI eligible.
