Additional Job Description West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute seek an interventional cardiologist to practice general and interventional cardiology based at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in teaching medical students, internal medicine residents and cardiology fellows. Opportunities also exist in clinical research.
Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill these duties at these additional sites.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligibility for a state medical license.
Completed an internal medicine residency program, a general cardiology fellowship program and an interventional fellowship program.
Board certified or eligible in interventional cardiology.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
