RN Nurse Shift Manager Med/Surg ICU – California Hospital Medical Center
Shift: 7:00 pm – 7:30 am (Night)
As our RN Nurse Shift Manager, you will lead and support frontline nurses, directly enhancing patient care quality through your valuable expertise in acute care, long‑term care, or nursing home settings.
Pay Range: $50.39 – $76.21 per hour
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise nursing staff assigned to a particular shift.
Assign patients to available nursing staff, taking into consideration the patient’s condition and the employee’s skill level.
Assess, monitor, and educate the nursing staff on patient care. Institute emergency procedures as necessary.
Anticipate staffing needs and move proactively to respond to them.
Oversee stocking of supplies and updating patient records to ensure that the nursing floor is ready for subsequent shifts.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (e.g., ADN).
Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
Licensure
Registered Nursing License (RN) in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS).
