Job Description Part-Time Ultrasonographer
Location Placentia, CA
Hours 4–16 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
About Us We are a community-focused primary care practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare. We are expanding our in-office diagnostic capabilities and are seeking a skilled ultrasonographer to join our team on a part-time basis.
Position Summary We are looking for an experienced
Ultrasonographer
to perform a variety of general diagnostic ultrasound exams. This position offers a flexible schedule with a commitment of
4 to 16 hours per week , ideal for professionals seeking part-time work or supplemental income.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations including, but not limited to: thyroid, abdominal, soft tissue, testicular, vascular studies.
Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper documentation for physician interpretation.
Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment.
Provide compassionate patient care, explain procedures, and address patient questions.
Collaborate with physicians and staff to support efficient workflow.
Qualifications
Required:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification (or equivalent).
Minimum of 1 year experience in general ultrasound.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
Experience in vascular imaging (RVT certification a plus).
Prior outpatient/clinic-based ultrasound experience.
Schedule & Compensation
Flexible scheduling available: 4–16 hours per week.
Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
