Full‑time, 0.6 FTE, On‑site, Shift 1. Weekend Program:
2 12‑hour shifts (0700‑1930 Saturday & Sunday). Float between Froedtert Menomonee Falls and Froedtert West Bend Hospital. Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients. This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population in the acute care setting. Key Responsibilities
Assess and plan nursing care for adult acute care patients. Implement evidence‑based nursing interventions. Evaluate patient outcomes and modify care plans as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members. Document care in accordance with hospital policies and regulations. Experience & Requirements
Minimum 12 months recent inpatient hospital nursing experience preferred. Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at an accredited nursing school. Upon hire, any non‑BSN nurse with less than one year of licensed RN experience will be required to enroll in a BSN (or higher nursing degree) program. Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Non‑BSN must enroll in a BSN (or higher nursing degree) program within 15 months of hire, complete within 5 years of enrollment (or 6 years for MSN, DNP, or PhD). Licensure & Certifications
Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi‑state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required within 90 days of hire. Benefits & Perks
